The Watchman is a podcast with news, views and comment to help awaken the church and help make sense of a culture in chaos and a church so often in compromise.
In each episode, I’ll be providing spiritual insight of the biggest stories, looking at what is going on in the world of politics and Parliament, providing useful prayer points on the issues of the day and seeing what the Bible has to say about the issues we face in society today. I’ll also be speaking to people who are on the front lines opposing the secular agenda.
It is my prayer and determination to see the church awakened to the reality of the times we live in. We need to be as the Sons of Issachar who discerned the times and so knew what to do. We need to rise up, face the challenge of a society that is increasingly hostile to Christianity and biblical truth and start the fightback by proclaiming the hope that we have in Jesus alone. We need to declare biblical truth in love to those who most need to hear it. We need to influence society around us for Christ and we need to be praying for a great revival to sweep across this nation.
